UP elections: Akhilesh Yadav promises caste census if voted to power

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday promised to conduct a caste census in Uttar Pradesh if voted to power in the Assembly elections scheduled to take place next year, PTI reported. Mumbai, September 30 Equity benchmark Sensex dropped over 150 points in early trade on Thursday, tracking losses in index majors Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank amid sustained foreign fund outflow.
