CHICAGO, IL -- Three years after Indian American student Pravin Varughese’s mysterious death in the woods of Carbondale, Illinois, a Jackson County grand jury on July 13 indicted Gaege Bethune, a long-time suspect in the case, with two counts of first-degree murder.Bethune turned himself in that evening, and was held on $1-million bail.
