Abuja (Nigeria), Oct 16 : Nigeria's national football team coach Stephen Keshi was sacked Thursday despite a home win against Sudan which kept them in the running to defend their African title.The Nigeria Football Federation said former coach Shuaibu Amodu would take temporary charge before a foreign coach is appointed, reports Xinhua.

Administrative reshuffle in Kashmir

Captive IAF man rescued in Meghalaya

Guwahati, Oct 16 (IANS) An air force personnel, held hostage in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya, was Thursday rescued in a joint operation by Assam and Meghalaya police.
