Delhi Police to get Rs.5,029 crore

New Delhi, July 10 (IANS) The central government Thursday allocated Rs.5,029.19 crore to Delhi Police for improving training facilities, installation of traffic signals and construction of houses for the force in the current fiscal.This was an increase of Rs.300 crore from the last fiscal. For the year 2013-2014, Delhi Police got Rs.4,259.2 crore, of which Rs.28 crore was spent as planned expenditure, while Rs.4,230.71 crore was spent as non-planned expenditure.
