Barcelona agree to sell Fabregas to Chelsea

Madrid, June 12 (IANS) Spanish football club Barcelona Thursday agreed to sell midfielder Cesc Fabregas to English side Chelsea."Barcelona and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the sale of Cesc Fabregas to the English club," the Spanish club said in a statement, reports Xinhua. Fabregas, 27, previously played for Arsenal before joining Barcelona in August 2011. Fabregas is currently with the Spanish team in Brazil for the FIFA World Cup.

Shillong, June 12 (IANS) Meghalaya has no record of Bangladeshis who entered the state on or before March 24, 1971, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said Thursday."While no census had been undertaken to detect the presence of those who had come to Meghalaya from Bangladesh on or before March 24, 1971, here were 5,735 Bangladeshi citizens who entered the state since 1972," Sangma told the assembly during the question hour.
