Cultural programmes, a tableau depicting his teachings and colourful processions marked the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda in West Bengal Saturday. US opportunities for Indian students

A US-based non-profit organisation Saturday offered free internship opportunities to bright Indian students in American engineering colleges. The Lab-X Foundation launched the pilot programme in collaboration with Startup Village here to facilitate the internship opportunities and outreach programmes in the US. Jaypee Punjab Warriors to shift base next season

Jaypee Punjab Warriors will be shifting their base from Jalandhar to Mohali from the next season of the Hockey Indian League (HIL) for logistical reasons. Over 100 dead as flu epidemic grips US

The United States is in the grip of a flu epidemic. Over 100 deaths have been attributed to the disease with 24 states and New York City reporting high levels of flu activity, according to CDC's flu advisory report for Dec 30 through Jan 5.
